Q: What is a DMC?
A: A Destination Management Company (DMC) is a company that specializes in the organization and logistics of meetings, incentives and events. Other special services include hotel reservations, arrange transportation, catering, dinners and entertainment, and provide guides and hostesses. With our in-depth knowledge of the field, our many years of experience in organizing programs, and our creativity, the key-word when working with us is customized. Q: Is there any penalty for late amendment?
A: This varies from hotel to hotel. Italian Travel Team itself does not charge any penalties for reservations that are amended in any way. If you cancel or you reduce hotel stay, ITT will advise you at that time because the penalty varies from hotel to hotel.

Q: How do I amend my reservation?
A: Send us a email or fax stating your original reservation details and your new reservation requirements (Booking ID). We will then process your amendment requests and will email or fax once your amendment is confirmed.

Q: How do I book online?
A: Booking our products is easy. First step you have to Login. Then you'll see a booking button at the end of every Hotel or service. Click on it and the system will prompt you for some brief details. Before the confirmation you will know the exact quote of each single booking. If the quote is OK, you can proceed to enter your contact and payment details, all on the one screen. You will receive an "Order Summary" with a link to the voucher for your reservation. You simply take this voucher to the travel service provider or hotel prior to the commencement of your travel service. All these details will be written on your voucher for your information.

Q: Can I book more than one hotel, tour or any other travel services in one file?
A: No, one booking correspond to one file. You will receive confirmation for every single reservation made.

Q: It has been 24 hours since I booked and I have not received confirmation.
A: Confirmation sometimes take a little longer than 24 hours, especially over weekends and holidays. Italian Travel Team will do everything possible to secure a confirmation. Please note that your credit card will not be charged until your booking is confirmed.

Q: I'm not sure if my booking was processed, did you get my booking request?
A: You can search your booking in "YOUR AREA" section. If the result is negative please contact Italian Travel Team via email, fax or by phone with your booking details. We will check to see if we have received your booking request successfully and will be in contact with you.

Q: I'm getting errors / blank pages when I am trying to book, what is the problem?
A: Errors can often occur as pages can be "hided". We recommend you to "refresh" or "reload" your pages and try again. Be sure to be login-in. If you are still experiencing difficulty, please contact Italian Travel Team via email with the details, including the site you are in, the exact error message you are receiving as well as the page you are on.

Q: Is there another way to book than online?
A: Italian Travel Team is a classic tour operator that have an innovative booking system. We accept bookings online using an authorized valid credit card, Fax, e-mail or other booking methods.

Q: We have more than 9 guests, how do I book?
A: For bookings of 9 people or more, please make a request clicking on the button "Group request". In this way we will be able to offer special group rates.

Q: How do I cancel my reservation?
A: Send us an email or fax to cancel your reservation. Please note that we are unable to cancel booking through the telephone. This is to avoid any misunderstanding relating to your booking. To have a valid reservation cancelled we will confirm your cancellation by e-mail or fax.

Q: What is the "No Show" penalty?
A: If you do not cancel your booking and client fail to arrive at the hotel, we will charge you one night for every room booked.

Q: Why cookies must be active?
A: Cookies must be enabled before you can continue. To enable cookies, you need to make a simple adjustment to your browser settings. Q: What currency is the room rate quoted in?

Q: Is the rate per room or per person basis?
A: The rates shown are always quoted based on Per Person and Per Night basis. All rates are net including Tax.

Q: What is the difference between room categories?
A: The information below served as a general guide. Some accommodation may have different occupancy level. Please check the hotel web page for further details. Hotel Room Types Single - Room has 1 single bed, strictly for 1 adult only. No Extra bed is possible. Double - Room has either 2 single beds or 1 Queen or King sized bed to accommodate 2 adults. At time of reservation is necessary specify setup type. Double for Single Use - Room has either 1 Queen or King sized bed to accommodate 1 adult only. Triple - Room has either 3 Single Beds, or 1 Queen Bed and 1 Single Bed, or equivalent to accommodate 3 adults. Quad - Room has either 4 single beds, or 1 Queen and 2 Single Beds, or equivalent to accommodate 4 adults. Typically, no extra bed is possible. Hotel Apartments / Serviced Apartments Types 1 Bedroom Apartment - 1 Bedroom with a small living room, kitchenette and 1 toilet to accommodate 2 adults, unless specify otherwise. The third adults will require an extra bed. 2 Bedroom Apartment - 2 Bedrooms with a living room, kitchenette and 1 toilet to accommodate 4 adults, unless specify otherwise. The fifth adults will require an extra bed. 3 Bedroom Apartment - 3 Bedrooms with a living room, kitchenette and 1 toilet to accommodate 6 adults, unless specify otherwise. The seventh adults will require an extra bed.

Q: What is the difference between these room Types - Standard, Superior, Deluxe, Junior Suite and Suite?
A: This varies from hotel to hotel. Generally, the main difference lies in the room area space, view or different equipments. The Standard Room has smaller area space as compared to the Superior and Deluxe Room. As such, some hotels can only accommodate additional beds in the Superior and Deluxe Rooms. Junior Suite / Suite - Bedroom and a small living room to accommodate 2 adults, unless specify otherwise. The third adults will require an extra bed.

Q: Is breakfast included in the room rate?
A: Yes.

Q: Do children stay for free?
A: Please refer to the Hotel Child Policy under the Terms and Conditions section. It will state if your children can stay for free or will be charged as adult or have a discount.

Q: Is Tax and Service Charge included in the rates?
A: Yes all hotel rates are inclusive of Tax and Service charges.

Q: Do you offer further discounts for travel industry staffs?
A: Italian Travel Team rates are already discounted but additional discount are possible on request.

Q: When my credit card is charged?
A: Your credit card will be charged ONLY after the booking is confirmed. Once the credit card is processed, we will email your CONFIRMATION VOUCHER to you, which MUST BE retained for check-in purposes and signed by the credit card’s holder.

Q: Is Prepayment required for reservation?
A: Yes.

Q: Is the room I wish to book available?
A: Hotel room availability is indicated under the hotel booking section. Confirmation is subject to availability at time your reservation request is processed.

Q: Can Italian Travel Team guarantee availability for a particular date?
A: As we process reservations requests on first come first served basis, we cannot guarantee availability during your enquiry but only after your reservation is processed.

Q: How do I make an Hotel reservation?
A: Step 1 : After you’ve login, click on the "Hotels" button. Step 2 : Select on search your choices, and important select dates of booking and "Find". Step 3 :Choose the Hotel you would like to book by clicking on the "Booking" button. Step 4 : Fill in your details as required by the form. Click on the "Continue" button. Step 5 : Choose type and number of rooms to be reserved. Click on the "Continue" button. Step 6 : Enter names of travellers by room. Click on the "Submit" button. Your reservation is being processed. You will see your reservation that was successfully sent to Italian Travel Team Reservation Departement, and we will email to notify that we are working on your request. Once your reservation is confirmed, we will email the confirmation details.
